Rupiah depreciates to 11,649 in the morning

he rupiah traded interbanks in Jakarta on Thursday morning weakened by 22 basis points to 11,649 per US dollar, down from the previous 11,627, Antara news agency reported.
Monex Investindo Futures analyst Zulfirman Basir recently said the rupiah was under pressure following the release of China's contracting manufacturing data.
He said the condition worried domestic financial market players since China was one of the country's main trade partners
In addition to that, political factors remain an issue as investors were considering how possible political party coalitions heading into the presidential election could affect the next government's policies. (nfo)
