Maia brings own mic to avoid bacteria

Singer and producer Maia Estianty says she does not like sharing microphones, as she is afraid of contracting bacteria from other people.
'I always bring my own microphone because I don't want to be infected with virus or bacteria from other people,' she said as quoted by tribunnews.com.
'So it is safer to bring your own mic, both for recording and performing.'
The ex-wife of musician Ahmad Dhani said price was not the only consideration in buying a microphone.
'A good microphone is not dictated by the price. For recording purposes, a good mix between the mic and its preamplifier also determines the result,' Maia said.
