An earthquake measuring 5
An earthquake measuring 5.2 on the Richter scale hit Bitung city in North Sulawesi on Wednesday, according to Antara news agency.
"The quake was centered at 42 kilometers southeast of Bitung city. The tremor was felt in the North Sulawesi capital of Manado. There is no potential of it triggering a tsunami," Manado geophysics station head Slamet Suyitno Raharjo said on Wednesday. (hhr)
