With less than two weeks until the presidential election, candidate Joko '€œJokowi'€ Widodo declared on Thursday war against fraudulent voting practices, while his rival Prabowo Subianto claimed '€” while campaigning in Sukoharjo, Central Java '€” that he would be victorious on election day.

Speaking before thousands of supporters grouped under the Anti-Money Politics and Fraudulent Practices Task Force in Senayan, South Jakarta, Jokowi called on supporters to observe the election and vote-counting closely.

'€œWatch your neighborhood: Don'€™t let anyone distribute money to buy votes. You should also supervise the vote counting process. Don'€™t let anyone manipulate the votes,'€ he said on Thursday.

Previously, Jokowi and running mate Jusuf Kalla clarified their wealth reports with the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) as one of the mandatory processes ahead of the July 9 election.

Jokowi arrived at the KPK headquarters at 9 a.m., while Kalla attended his session at 1 p.m.

Jokowi said that the KPK questioned him on how he had acquired his wealth, but he refused to disclose his current wealth as of this year.

'€œThe KPK was very detailed in clarifying my wealth report. It also checked on all the belongings that I have. There are a number of items added from the previous wealth report I previously submitted to the KPK. As of the total amount, it is the duty of the General Elections Commission [KPU] to announce it on July 1,'€ Jokowi said.

Later in the day, Jokowi met with various groups of supporters in locations around Jakarta. Jokowi is slated to continue his campaign trail to East Java over the weekend.

Meanwhile, Prabowo, who was dismissed as an Army lieutenant general in 1998 due to violations of the military code, was upbeat that he would win the upcoming election based on a series of surveys.

'€œThere are 13 days left. But I already feel that the wind is blowing toward us,'€ he said.

He added '€œsupport for Prabowo-Hatta [Rajasa] is growing'€.

Separately, Prabowo'€™s legal team is preparing to file a police report against former Indonesian Military (TNI) commander Gen. (ret.) Wiranto, who is a supporter of Jokowi, for accusing Prabowo of initiating the forced disappearance of pro-democracy activists in 1998.

Habiburokhman, a member of Prabowo'€™s legal team, accused Wiranto of spreading defamatory statements, as regulated in articles 310 and 311 of the Criminal Code and articles 15 and 16 of Criminal Law No. 1/1946.

'€œTomorrow, we will hand over the Metro TV video footage of Wiranto'€™s statement to the police. Former Military Police chief Maj. Gen. [ret] Djasri Marin has also agreed to provide clarification that Prabowo was not involved in the abduction,'€ he said on Thursday.

Prabowo'€™s legal team has turned to the National Police in its attempts to prosecute Wiranto after the Elections Supervisory Agency (Bawaslu) turned down the case, saying that Wiranto did not commit any election violations.

Meanwhile, several school teachers reported Prabowo to Bawaslu for allegedly sending them letters urging them to vote for him.

Federation for Indonesian Teachers Associations (FSGI) secretary-general Retno Listyarti said that the campaign attempt was not appropriate as the letters were sent to the schools where the teachers worked, instead of their private residences.

'€œWe as teachers do not want to be politicized,'€ she told reporters at the Bawaslu headquarters in Thamrin, Central Jakarta.

The letters were sent to some state schools in Jakarta, such as senior high schools SMAN 76 and SMAN 75 and SMK 56 vocational senior high school, as well as private schools including SMK Poncol in Sumur Batu, Central Jakarta, one week ago.

The letters were reportedly also circulated in Depok, West Java and Gunung Kidul, Yogyakarta.

According to Retno, the letters featured Prabowo'€™s signature and conveyed his vision and mission for developing the country.
