he Jakarta Composite Index (JCI) closed on a positive note in Thursday's final trading session, climbing slightly by 0.11 percent 5,098.64.
'Indonesia Stock Exhange (IDX) data showed 155 stocks strengthened in the afternoon, while 118 stocks weakened and 83 remained unchanged.
Shares in four different sectors saw improvements by 4 p.m. on Thursday, with mining heading the list with a significant increase of 2.66 percent, kontan.co.id reported.
Agriculture and trade followed, strengthening by 1.64 percent and 0.69 percent, respectively.
Meanwhile, the sectors that weakened the most during the closing session were construction and basic industries, which fell by 1.73 percent and 0.52 percent, respectively. (nfo)
