he Jambi Prosecutor's Office has named Jambi University (UNJA) rector Aulia Tasman a suspect in a graft case centering on the procurement of medical equipment for the UNJA Medical School laboratory worth Rp 20 billion (US$1.7 million) in 2013.
'Investigators have named Aulia Tasman a suspect in the medical equipment procurement case,' said office head Syaifudin Kasim on Wednesday.
Syaifudin said Aulia was believed to have enriched other people in the case.
'Aulia was named a suspect on July 21,' he said, adding that the case was still developing.
'The number of suspects will likely rise,' he said.
