onstitutional Court justice Aswanto instructed the legal team of the losing Prabowo Subianto-Hatta Rajasa presidential ticket to clarify words and sentences, which were considered ambiguous, in its lawsuit on election fraud.
'Perhaps it can double-check and not use ambiguous words, but ones that have clear meaning,' Aswanto said as quoted by kompas.com in the first hearing on the presidential election dispute at the Constitutional Court in Jakarta on Wednesday.
In the first hearing, the Constitutional Court justices gave the legal team until Thursday noon to clarify the meaning of several words in the lawsuit.
The next hearing will be held on Friday, when the General Elections Commission and the legal team of president- and vice president-elect Joko Widodo and Jusuf Kalla will give their response to the lawsuit. (put)
