The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) and the state-run Sebelas Maret University (UNS) in Surakarta, Central Java are to jointly establish a Center for Anti-Corruption and Public Transparency Studies (Pustapako).
Your comments:
Until president-elect Joko 'Jokowi' Widodo is in a position to make a stand against corruption at all levels nothing will change since the problem is endemic.
The KPK needs to be strengthened with more staff and regional offices and the setting up of a simple system of reporting offences at all levels to enable the general public to bring all acts of graft and
corruption to the attention of the KPK offices.
All government institutions and any organization where inducements are expected to facilitate actions, i.e., Bank Rakyat Indonesia (BRI) employees soliciting for 'assistance' to obtain orders for things as mundane as local printing, should be covered.
Then and only then will there be any prospect of this culture starting to change
