There were 152 traded stocks that strengthened in the morning while 45 stocks went down and 75 stocks remained stable, kontan.co.id reported.
The volume of morning trade involved 3.93 million shares with a total value of Rp 14.3 trillion (US$1.21 billion).
Shares in nine out of 10 sectors traded on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) recorded improvements, with agriculture leading the list since it jumped by 0.88 percent by 9:00 a.m. on Wednesday.
Trade and mining were sectors that recorded the second and third highest increase, rising by 0.41 percent and 0.4 percent, respectively. (nfo)
