he Kerinci Police arrested Sungaipenuh municipal councilor Desrianto, 41, at his house in Lawang Agung village, Pondok Tinggi district, Sungaipenuh city, at 3 p.m. local time on Sunday for alleged drug possession.
Desrianto was questioned at the Kerinci Police narcotics division on Monday.
The police also apprehended a Kerinci Police officer, identified only as Robert, and a Gunung Raya Police officer identified only as Samrozi.
'The two police officers at Desrianto's house are undergoing examination by the Kerinci Police's internal affairs division,' Jambi Police chief Brig. Gen. Bambang Sudarisman said on Monday.
Desrianto and the two police officers were taken to the MHA Thalib General Hospital for urine tests. Desrianto's urine tested positive, while that of Robert and Samrozi tested negative.
During the raid, police reportedly found a package of crystal methamphetamine inside Desrianto's wallet, which was found in his study.
