AKARTA: The Indonesian Broadcasting Commission's (KPI) chief is sanctioning TransTV for airing a stultifying 14 hours of continuous live reports on the wedding of TV personality Raffi Ahmad to Nagita Slavina last week.
The broadcast, titled Janji Suci Raffi dan Nagita (The Holy Vows of Raffi and Nagita) was aired on Oct. 16
and 17.
'The program gave no benefi t to the public as the owner of the frequency,' wrote commission chairman
Judhariksawan.
RCTI was given exclusive rights to broadcast the Raffi 's reception in Jakarta, while ANTV will exclusively
cover his second reception in Bali.
