Connecticut girl barred from her elementary school amid fears she may have been exposed to the Ebola virus while in Africa is now back in class.
The New York Times reports (http://nyti.ms/1nYAASD) 7-year-old Ikeoluwa Opayemi was permitted back at Meadowside Elementary School in Milford on Friday, three days after her father filed a federal lawsuit saying his daughter had been unfairly treated because she didn't pose a health risk.
The family visited Nigeria for a wedding from Oct. 2-13, but there are no known Ebola patients in Nigeria.
The newspaper says the Milford school system on Thursday reversed its decision to keep her out of class for 21 days.
The girl's family and the school have agreed to settle the suit, according to the paper. No terms were released.
