AKARTA: The KLa Project is launching a new album titled Grand KLakustik to celebrate its 26th anniversary. Songs on the album were taken from the band'€™s '€œGrand KLakustik Concert'€ last year, which was organized to commemorate the rockers'€™ quarter-century in the music industry.

'€œThere were no retakes in recording the album,'€ guitarist Romulo '€œLilo'€ Radjadin said, as quoted by tempo.co. '€œIt'€™s all live.'€

Pianist Adi Adrian said the album featured new arrangements of the band'€™s greatest hits. '€œThe songs here may be the same as our previous compilation albums, but the atmosphere and the message that we'€™re trying to convey is different,'€ Adi said.

A total of 26 musicians took part in making the album, including Tohpati, Budi Bidhun and Iwan Hasan. They also collaborated with Glen Fredly, Badai Kerispatih, Tata Janeeta and Angel Pieters.
