Your comments on the deaths of dozens of people, mostly living in western areas of Java, after drinking homemade oplosan (bootleg liquor), which is circulated illegally as a result of poor government control:
This is what happens when the pious local government bans any kind of alcohol in its area. The consumption of this disgusting and dangerous stuff will drop significantly.

People who pity the body and soul will think twice about drinking oplosan. Although others already know the dangers, they still drink it. Challenging a forbidden thing is a very stupid act. These events are a lesson to everyone to love themselves and their families.

If you don't want to get burned, don't play with fire. It's hazardous for you, your family and the community.

How about legalizing alcohol, or making it more affordable?

The best way to address it is to provide good-quality, free liquor.

Let people from remote areas control this matter by themselves ' it will be no good interfering unless they request help.

Our young people are no different from young people in other countries. They also have the urge to drink liquor. Not having liquor available legally, they make their own liquor, they do it in the wrong way and the result is death. Do we realize that these incidents show how poorly we pay attention to our youth? The prohibition of liquor has made people produce it illegally, even stupidly, leading to the poisoning of our young people.
The culture of producing liquor in many other countries is so advanced that people go to the lengths of visiting each others' breweries to compare notes on how to produce better quality beer or wine.
What is it that blocks our people from going international?
