AKARTA: D'€™Masiv vocalist Ryan Ekky Pradipta has been named an ambassador for ending violence against children.

'€œI volunteered myself to the National Commission on Children Rights Protection for the campaign,'€ said Ryan, who is also an activist for children'€™s rights.

'€œAs a father I want my daughter to grow up without the trauma of violence,'€ Ryan said, as quoted as by kapanlagi.com on Sunday.

He said that he would use D'€™Masiv'€™s popularity as he visits villages throughout the archipelago to promote awareness of the issue.

'€œI'€™ve always wanted to be useful to the community,'€ Ryan said. '€œIt is my responsibility to actively creating an environment for Indonesian children to have a better future.'€
