Actress Karina Salim says she is interested in expanding her career by trying out being a singer.

The star of drama Mantan Terindah (The Most Beautiful Ex) said her curiosity would fulfilled in the near future as she would collaborate with the drummer of indie band Sore, Bemby Gusti Pramudya.

'€œI want to try to be a singer. This month, I will start recording the first single with Mas Bemby,'€ the 23-year-old said as quoted by tribunnews.com.

The idea, she said, was sparked when she sang during the gala premiere of a movie. '€œWhen I was singing at the premiere, many music producers saw me and Mas Yovie also told me that my voice was quite good,'€ she said,
referring to music producer Yovie Widianto, whose single of the same name, sung by chanteuse Raisa, inspired the movie.
