T

he city administration will build two overpasses next year, in Kuningan and Permata Hijau, South Jakarta. The overpasses are expected to be completed and fully functional by the end of 2015.

Public Works Agency head Agus Priyono said that the overpasses in Kuningan would be located at the intersection between Jl. Gatot Subroto and Jl. HR Rasuna Said. The Kuningan overpass will be developed by PT Nindya Karya and will cater for motorists traveling from Pancoran to Semanggi.

Meanwhile, the overpass in Permata Hijau is to be built above the railroad crossing at the Jl. Patal Senayan intersection, to reduce congestion caused by the high traffic of electric trains (KRL). It will be developed by PT Lampiri Djaya Abadi, PT Multi Infrastructure and PT Brantas Abispraya.
