he Jakarta Police's crime division recently arrested a group of thieves who often disguised themselves as members of the Jakarta Police when committing crimes in Bekasi, West Java.
'There are 10 perpetrators, six of whom have been arrested while the remaining four are still at large,' City Police spokesman Sr. Comr. Rikwanto said as quoted by kompas.com on Friday.
The six suspects were identified as DS, IS, AJ, YI, DRA and CK. They were arrested while planning another crime. Rikwanto said the police asked IS, the leader of the group, to identify the houses of four other fugitives in Bekasi, but he tried to escape in the middle of the trip. The police shot him in the leg and back. IS died on the way to the hospital.
Rikwanto said the police confiscated various weapons, cash, mobile phones and a Honda CRV car.
