P

rosecutors in Medan, North Sumatra, have submitted the dossiers of two suspects involved in the abduction, physical abuse and murder of domestic maids at the house of suspects Syamsul Anwar and his family on Jl. Beo, to the Medan District Court on Friday.

One of suspects, identified only by his initials, MTA, 17, is the son of Syamsul and Radika, who is believed to be involved in abusing the maids, while the other, MHB, also 17, works for the family and was allegedly involved in the murder.

Medan Prosecutor'€™s Office head Syamsuri said MTA would be charged with domestic violence and MHB with murder.

'€œMTA was not involved in the murder of a domestic maid. He only sent MHB when he dumped the body of the maid who was recently identified as Hermin,'€ added Syamsuri.

In the case, investigators at the Medan City Police Crime and Intelligence Unit named seven suspects, four of them related to the family, namely Syamsul, Radika, Jakir and MTA. The three other suspects are Kiki Andika, Fery and MHB. Syamsul and Radika have been named as the main actors in the case.
