epresentatives of the Los Angeles municipal administration have given Governor Basuki 'Ahok' Tjahaja Purnama an award to recognize the 25 years of partnership between the two countries.
Los Angeles-Jakarta Sister City group chairman Matthew Mulyanto said that during the 25 years of partnership, Jakarta and Los Angeles had cooperated on aspects, including social issues and culture.
'Hopefully, Los Angeles and Jakarta will continue to have good relations and cooperation in the future,' he said.
Separately, Ahok said he hoped Jakarta and Los Angeles would cooperate in real sectors in the near future. He also invited Los Angeles businessmen to invest in Jakarta.
