The Jakarta administration will deliberate its draft 2015 city budget with the Home Ministry soon.
Jakarta Governor Basuki 'Ahok' Tajahaja Purnama said here on Tuesday that the draft budget had been handed over to the ministry to be checked and studied.
Ahok further said that the city administration would invite a special team from the ministry to deliberate and verify the draft budget.
'During deliberations, everything will be open to discussion,' he said.
Separately, city secretary Saefullah said deliberations would be conducted by the verification team from the ministry and the city's budgetary committee.
'We will also invite the City Council to attend the deliberations. Nothing will be hidden and covered up,' he said as quoted by Antara news agency.
After deliberations, he said, all agencies in the city administration would be asked to meet with the Regional Development and Planning Agency at the ministry to provide input on the draft budget.
'The process will be carried out on April 4-6,' he said.
He said the budget was expected to be endorsed on April 10 and would then be disbursed to finance all development programs and other activities. (rms)
