he Jakarta Police have identified a body found recently in a lake at the University of Indonesia (UI) as Aksyena Ahad Dori, a biology major at the university who entered the school in 2013. The body was found last Thursday floating in the lake attached to a bag of rocks.
Police spokesperson Sr. Comr. Martinus Sitompul said the student was from Sleman, Yogyakarta, and lived in a boarding house in Beji in Depok, West Java.
Martinus said police found a note in Aksyena's room which read, 'will not return, please don't search for me. My apologies eternally.'
However, Martinus said, police were still investigating whether Aksyena's death was a suicide. 'We cannot conclude this was a suicide just yet. We are still investigating the case,' he said.
