outh Thousand Islands Police have recently arrested two tour guides of Tidung Island in Thousand Islands for possessing dozens of packages of dry marijuana.
South Thousand Islands Police head Adj. Comr. Susilo said Wednesday the two suspects, who were identified as AM, 19, and MS, 21, were apprehended when they were playing a card game in a park at around 9 p.m. on Monday.
'We have questioned five people and found that AM brought one pack of marijuana, while MS brought two packs in his pockets. The two are tour guides,' Susilo said as quoted by beritajakarta.com.
He added that the police found 30 more packs of dry marijuana in AM's wardrobe during a search of his house on Tidung Island. The two suspects are currently being detained by the South Thousands Island Police for further investigation.
