he police have arrested six people, claimed to be members of the Santoso-led armed group, for stealing motorcycles to finance their terror activities.
Central Sulawesi Police spokesman Adj. Sr. Hari Suprapto said that available data showed the police had impounded at least 93 motorbikes from the suspects, identified as Rudi, Sarwo, Kalman, Akbar, Farid and Ipul.
'All of them are believed to have been stolen by members of the terror group in Poso,' Hari told The Jakarta Post on Thursday.
The thieves were arrested in a number of places in Palu city and Sigi regency.
Hari added that the police had also apprehended three people believed to be fences, identified as Muchlis, Bakar and Hamka.
