refer to an article titled 'Jokowi-Kalla popularity slumps deeper', (The Jakarta Post, April 20, p4). I still remember when President Joko 'Jokowi' Widodo took the reins as Jakarta governor. He did great things that affected my daily life, like road repairs.
Now with Basuki 'Ahok' Tjahaja Purnama, the road I cross almost daily has been damaged since the flooding with no repairs. Even after I put the photos on an Internet forum, no concrete action was taken.
With Jokowi being President, I think he has too many details to check. His policies are good, like the maritime highway, railways in Kalimantan, the toll road in Sumatra, curbing subsidies, increasing bio content in fuel, etc.
I am eager to see the successful results, which Jokowi and Vice President Jusuf Kalla have five years to deliver, not five months.
