entral Jakarta Mayor Mangara Pardede said that the construction of a child-friendly public space (RPTRA) in Cideng, Gambir, is nearly complete and scheduled to open on May 30.
He said as quoted by beritajakarta.com that the construction was 90 percent complete.
On Saturday, personnel of the Central Jakarta Water Management Agency were seen repairing water drainage around the facility.
Gambir district head Fauzi added that his residents would demolish a community unit post near the facility. 'The community's activities will then be held in a functional room located at the facility,' he said.
Previously, the administration has officiated two RPTRA, located in Sungai Bambu, North Jakarta, and Gandaria, South Jakarta.
