pedicab driver died on Thursday after taking a customer to attend the wedding of President Joko 'Jokowi' Widodo's son in Surakarta, Central Java.
Witnesses saw Sutarmin, 56, suffer from a seizure before falling down into a gutter. He was rushed to the nearest hospital but the doctor pronounced him dead upon arrival.
'He was on a break because he felt tired. But suddenly, he had a seizure and his pedicab moved without his control and he fell down into the gutter,' Sigit Triyono, Sutarmin's colleague, said.
Sutarmin was one of 200 pedicab drivers hired by the President's family to take guests to the wedding reception. (gan/ika)(+++)
