ity-owned train operator PT KAI Commuter Jabodetabek (KCJ) has opened three new stations along the Duri-Tangerang line to serve the growing number of passengers. The three stations are Grogol and Taman Kota in West Jakarta as well as Tanah Tinggi in Tangerang.
'The launch of these three stations is part of our commitment to improving the service to the public,' KCJ president director MN Fadhila said on Tuesday.
Fadhila said the Duri-Tangerang line currently served 37,000 passengers on 88 train journeys every day.
'We predict that the number of passengers will continue to increase,' he said, adding that KCJ was aiming for 1.2 million passengers every day by 2019.
