Bali Police chief Ins. Gen. Ronny Franky Sompie said the drugs were evidence seized in a series of raids between 2014 and 2015.
He added the illegal substances that were destroyed were only samples but he promised that police would destroy every piece of evidence.
'The destroyed items will be thrown into a place that is unreachable,' he said as quoted by kompas.com.
The drugs, consisting of 5.1 grams of marijuana, 2,177.32 grams of crystal methamphetamine and 7.8 grams of cocaine, were destroyed with a blender using a chemical substance to prevent them from being used. (ika)(++++)
