Nasdem Party politician Akbar Faisal has admitted to receiving a transcription of a minister's statement discrediting President Joko 'Jokowi' Widodo.
'I got the [transcription] through a group on my mobile phone. It was during the June 3 event,' Akbar said in the House of Representatives compound on Monday.
Home Minister Tjahjo Kumolo revealed on Monday that instead of being thankful for the appointment as a presidential aide, a minister made a statement discrediting the President behind the scenes, but he declined to identify the minister.

Whatever the case is, it's going to be better if Sri Mulyani comes back. Give her more space. She has better experience than anyone in the Working Cabinet.

This could be the ramping up of Indonesian Democratic Party of Struggle's own campaign to discredit their President.

Funny how this comment was heard by one PDI-P member and then there is a transcript (was it being recorded?) about a woman in an economic coordination role. Attempt at discrediting someone?
They heard it and want to release the supposed comment but don't want to name the person? Then why release the supposed comment and transcript?

Insulting the President of the Republic of Indonesia is wrong by the code and conduct of a minister in Cabinet. It is wrong, wrong, wrong.
Of course there is a risk for the minister, who is mentally, morally, psychologically damaging the reputation of Mr. President.
It is a fair enough for President Jokowi to remove that disrespectful minister and it would also be a lesson for others.

Having a background in furniture, indeed he could not possibly understand everything said and done, or why. But as President he could, if he wanted to, appoint a 'technocrat', or appoint the right man in the right place.
