Comedian Indro from the legendary Warkop trio is proud of the current vibrant Indonesian comedy scene.
'It's very colorful now. Having done comedy for a long time, I'm proud and grateful about it,' Indro, 57, said as quoted by kompas.com.
Indro is the youngest member of Warkop. Along with the late Kasino and Dono, the group made at least 30 movies between the 1970s and early 1990s. In his solo career, Indro has been involved in four movies, including Comic 8, since 2011.
Indro said that developing Indonesian comedy was among Warkop's dreams.
'Mas Dono and mas Indro may not see it now, but I do,' he added.
