Your comments on the move made by the police to name two Judicial Commission leaders suspects in a defamation case in connection with South Jakarta District Court judge Sarpin Rizaldi's decision in favor of the pretrial motion of now deputy police chief Com. Gen. Budi Gunawan:
This is a joke but a good example that shows how far certain people will go to protect rotten law enforcement and judiciary.
What is the point of a strong Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) if the judiciary is rotten to its core?
The judiciary needs reform. Only with skilled corruption free judges can the law be applied.
Police reform is also needed. Vastly increase resources and training for the KPK and other specialist units that require forming/development under their banner.
Any government that fails to address the above is purposely deceiving its people.

If everyone has faith in the judicial system to deliver justice for all then let due process take its full course.
I deliberately stressed on the word 'if' for obvious reasons.

Considering what has happened recently, I could see other commissioners of the judiciary being named suspects in the future.
Even the President and Vice President might be named suspects if the most powerful persons implicated in corruption, collusion and nepotism continue to hold important and powerful positions.
And if they are given the wind to do whatever they can to shift public focus away from the important issues, such as the economic slowdown.
