The party is still on. After the holiday season, renowned international artists — from pop sensation Ariana Grande to old-time favorites Bon Jovi or Frente — will arrive in the country to entertain music lovers. The choice is yours.

American rock band The Maine will be in town on Aug. 14 to entertain fans in a concert to promote the band’s latest album, American Candy.

The Maine — consisting of John O’Callagan (vocals, guitar and keyboard), Kennedy Brock (rhythm guitar, vocals), Jared Monaco (guitar), Garrett Nickelsen (bass) and Patrick Kirch (drums and percussions) — will stage a concert at Skenoo Hall in Gandaria City mall, South Jakarta.

Presale tickets to The Maine’s concert were offered at Rp 575,000 (US$42.97).

“Afterward, the tickets will be sold at their normal price of Rp 625,000,” said the managing director of the concert’s promotion company Marygops Studios, Shaane Harjani.

Less than two weeks later, Jakartans will be able to watch a performance from American pop sensation Ariana Grande.

The Aug. 26 concert at the JIEXPO Kemayoran in North Jakarta, which will coincide with the Indonesia International Motor Show (IIMS) at the same venue, will mark her debut concert in town.

Jakarta will be one of three cities in Asia that will host Grande’s “The Honeymoon Tour”, along with Tokyo and Manila.

“Ariana can only perform on that day, which happens to be the same time as the IIMS,” Roderick Tjandra of concert promoter Dyandra Promosindo told a recent press conference.

In her two-hour concert, Grande is schedule to perform more than 18 songs, including hits from her latest album, My Everything.

The concert promoter is offering 10,000 tickets with prices ranging from Rp 600,000 for a Purple tribune seat to Rp 6 million for a VVIP seat. All ticket holders get free access to the automotive exhibition.

Bali will also host a music party, with the Dreamfields 2015 Electronic Dance Music Festival set to take place at the Garuda Wisnu Kencana cultural park on Aug. 15. Ticket prices range from Rp 650,000 to Rp 1,750,000.

The headlining disc jockeys who will entertain partygoers during Dreamfields 2015 include Krewella, Vinai, Quintino, Andrew Rayel and Firebeatz. Several Indonesian DJs like Angger Dimas and Yasmin will also perform at the festival.

Meanwhile, the older generation will get a chance to feel nostalgia for the glorious 1990s by enjoying a performance from American rock band Bon Jovi.

The band, with its iconic vocalist Jon Bon Jovi, will perform at the Gelora Bung Karno Stadium, South Jakarta, on Sept. 11. The concert will be the second Bon Jovi show in Jakarta after a 1995 show in Ancol, North Jakarta.

VIP tickets were sold at a price of Rp 3.5 million. Tickets for lower tiers and festival seats were selling fast since sales opened on June 29. Live Nation Indonesia, the organizer of the Bon Jovi concert, expected 40,000 people of all ages to come and watch.

'€œWe have made sure the ticket prices are very attractive for fans. We anticipate that tickets will sell out fast,'€ Live Nation Indonesia managing director Kimberley Fraser said in an official statement.

Bon Jovi is slated to perform hit singles such as '€œLivin'€™ On a Prayer'€, '€œYou Give Love a Bad Name'€ and '€œIt'€™s My Life'€ at the concert.

After enjoying the Bon Jovi show, the 1990s generation of Indonesia will have another treat with The 90s Festival at Istora Senayan in Jakarta on Nov. 7.

The theme of the festival is '€œBig Reunion'€ and it will feature dozens of artists, both international and local, who gained prominence during the era.

The line-up for The 90s Festival includes Frente '€” an Australian alternative pop-rock band which gained popularity with singles like '€œBizarre Love Triangle'€ and '€œOrdinary Angel'€ '€” and P-Project, a Bandung-based musical parody group.

Theater lovers will also have a rare treat '€” a chance to enjoy Andrew Lloyd Webber'€™s The Sound of Music straight from London'€™s West End musical theatre district.

The Sound of Music '€” brought by Sorak Gemilang Entertainment promotion company and produced by the Really Useful Group production company '€” is set to take place at the Ciputra Artpreneur Theater in Jakarta from Oct. 6 to 11.

Early bird ticket prices for The Sound of Music range from Rp 720,000 to Rp 2,960,000 while normal price tickets have price tags of up to Rp 3.7 million. Tickets started being sold to the public on June 8.

As the year inches to an end, UK-based electronic band Clean Bandit will entertain music lovers at Skenoo Hall on Dec. 8.

Presented by Marygops Studios and 7Kings Entertainment, Clean Bandit will perform hits like '€œMozart'€™s House'€, '€œExtraordinary'€ and '€œRather Be'€.

'€œClean Bandit will give something refreshing to the Indonesian electronic music scene,'€ Shaane from Marygops said in an official release.
