The building caught fire around 4 a.m. on Friday morning. According to security staff, an explosion was heard from the basement area, allegedly from an electric generator.
'The fire fighters are still trying to extinguish the fire,' said head of South Jakarta fire agency Irwan as quoted by tempo.co.
The incident caused the electricity to shutdown and left employees stranded outside the building. They were told to wait until further notice from their supervisor. (edn/kes)(++++)
