It'€™s really embarrassing to see corrupt government officials all over Indonesia. In a few years, Indonesia will be the most corrupt nation in the world. Our government officials should be role models, but instead serve the most disgusting examples to other people, including our children.

We must crack down on corruption if we don'€™t want to leave our children with a disgusting heritage, but instead give them good examples, living clean free from corruption, stealing, robbing and looting.

The maximum fine for corruptors should be the proven amount that was obtained from their wrongdoing. This would ensure that corruption does not pay. In other words, one cannot get away with ill-gotten gains! If convicted, the corruptor will have to hand over every penny he or she ever made from graft. This may even lead to corruptors losing their homes if the money they made illegally exceeds the value of their liquid assets.
