he National Police flew three suspected members of Islamic State (IS) movement from East Nusa Tenggara to Jakarta headquarters on Wednesday morning for further questioning.
The East Nusa Tenggara Police general crimes director Sam Kawengian said the three men -- identified as ZU from Bekasi and ZK and HI from Alor, East Nusa Tenggara -- were interrogated by the National Police's Densus 88 counterterrorism unit in his office.
'Seven investigators from Densus 88 came from Jakarta to interrogate the men as requested by the East Nusa Tenggara Police,' he said as quoted by kompas.com.
Sam said that the three men needed to be taken to Jakarta in order to get more information about their involvement with IS.
Prior the interrogation, Densus 88 had looked over the evidence found in the house of one of the suspects. The evidence includes IS logos found inside a laptop, IS flags and paintings.
The three men were arrested earlier this week by the East Nusa Tenggara Police for distributing IS leaflets to Muslim residents in Alor. (nov/ika)(+++)
