he Police's elite Densus 88 anti-terror detachment has arrested a man believed to be involved in terror attacks on the Yogyakarta-Surakarta highway in Cupuwatu village, Kalasan, Sleman.
'The terror suspect, identified as Syafruddin, was arrested on Tuesday evening at around 6:30 p.m. local time,' Yogyakarta Police spokesperson Adj. Sr. Comr. Anny Pudjiastuti told the media in Yogyakarta on Wednesday.
According to Anny, the suspect, a resident of Surakarta, Central Java, was on his way home when he was arrested by Densus 88 members.
'It remains unclear which network he is from. We are building the case,' added Anny.
She said the suspect was transferred to the National Police headquarters in Jakarta on Wednesday for further examination.
