he Jakarta administration plans to develop a dedicated 4-kilometer bicycle lane from Jl. Suryopranoto to Harmoni in Central Jakarta later this year.
Jakarta Bina Marga (Roads) Agency head Yusmada Faizal said the lane would be 1.5 to 2 meters wide. He said the agency would also fix sidewalks along the road.

We aim to complete the development this year,' Yusmada said as quoted by beritajakarta.com, adding that to develop the bicycle lane and fix and widen the sidewalks the city administration had allocated a total of Rp 6 billion (US$411,676).
