he Attorney General's Office examined Sutiyas Handayani, the first wife of suspended North Sumatra governor Gatot Pujo Nugroho, at the Medan Prosecutor's Office on Wednesday.
According to tribunnews.com, Sutiyas, wearing a blue headscarf, arrived at the office at around 9 a.m. local time.
She then went to the second floor and met investigators.
From outside the inquiry room, Sutiyas was observed responding to questions directed at her by the investigators.
The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) had earlier arrested Gatot, a politician from the Prosperous Justice Party (PKS), and his second wife, Evi Susanti, for their alleged involvement in a bribery case related to social funds.
