he city administration this year failed to make bidding offers on the development of 1,000 bus stops and 378 electronic parking meters at the Financial and Asset Management Board (BPKAD).
Jakarta Transportation Agency head Andri Yansyah said that the failed bidding for the bus stops was due to administration issues.
'Meanwhile, the electronic parking meter bidding failed because, after evaluation, only two firms qualified to participate,' Andri said Monday as quoted by beritajakarta.com.
Andri said that the requests for bids for the bus stops and electronic parking meters were submitted in June and August, respectively.
He pointed out that the Transportation Agency had sent a letter to Governor Basuki 'Ahok' Tjahaja Purnama to request that another bidding is carried out.
'We will coordinate with the BPKAD so the procurement can progress smoothly,' Andri said.
