Aulia S
ulia S. Britain, (The Jakarta Post, Nov. 26, 2015, Your letters at the Readers' forum, p-8) your letter is indeed universal.
Our Islamic brothers are indeed prone to getting together among themselves; and blessed by their respective education, will form acceptable or deplorable situations to the concern of the other well-behaved and educated religious brothers and sisters.
Trying hard to help you get out of the religious debacle, I would sincerely suggest we provide a better education for our kids to start learning that we are one; and that we are born equal, so we will never see only our differences; and through the better education let us try hard to narrow the gaps among religions. I concede only the well behaved can accept this naïve proposal.
But we can always accept one another through proper education and cooperation.
Indeed, it is worth trying and redefining for the sake of peace and prosperity. Our better way of communications today shall provide the chance to bridge the difference, which is not only yours but ours.
