inger Paula Allodya Item, better known as Audy Item, says that she cried when she learned her husband, actor Iko Uwais, would take part in one of the most anticipated films of the year, Star Wars: The Force Awakens.

'€œAs a wife, I'€™m really proud. I cried when he told me that he would star in the movie,'€ she said as quoted by tribunnews.com.

The singer of '€œMenangis Semalam'€ (Cry All Night) said that she had been a fan of Star Wars since she was young.

'€œI always watched the movies, and it was so amazing to know that my husband would be in it. I hope his participation can motivate Indonesia'€™s movie scene,'€ Audy said. She added that Iko kept his participation in the movie a secret from her for a while.

Iko'€™s co-stars from The Raid and The Raid 2, Yayan Ruhian and Cecep Arif Rahman, also star in the film.
