President Joko 'Jokowi' Widodo will reportedly attend a Christmas celebration in Kupang, East Nusa Tenggara (NTT), on Monday.
'The President said he wanted to [attend the Christmas celebration]. I told him that I'm ready [to welcome him],' NTT Governor Frans Lebu Raya told a press conference at his office on Friday as quoted by kompas.com.
Frans then urged all parties to help ensure the success of the celebration.
He added that the NTT administration had also made preparations for other national-level events such as Social Solidarity Day and Women's Day.
Your comments:
Thank you President Jokowi for your attendance at the Christmas celebration.

I hope Kupang will not be in the dark as state electricity company PLN has been unable or unwilling to provide enough electricity for many months now.
In fact the problem has been ongoing for the past 12 years with no end in sight.
The government seems unwilling to invest in power generation and bring an end to Kupang's darkness.
Shame on PLN and shame on Kupang city government.
