AKARTA: Singer Marcello Tahitoe, better known as Ello, is ready to pour his heart out in his upcoming album titled Jalur Alternatif (Alternative Path) set for release this month.
'I've paid more attention to the songs' lyrics in this album,' he said on Thursday, as quoted by kompas.com.
'I believe what you convey in lyrics represents who you are.'
For the album, the 32-year-old Ello has penned 10 songs about his life experiences. 'I will talk more about daily life, like things you'd discuss with your friends and family,' Ello said.
Ello, the son of musician Minggus Tahitoe and 1980s pop diva Diana Nasution, rose to the music scene in 2009 through 'Pergi Untuk Kembali' (Leave to Return), an R'n'B-infused cover of one of his father's hits.
