inger Alena Wu says that she has begun to introduce the Chinese New Year tradition to her 4-year-old son Kolla Fauza.
'Kolla is growing up and we want to introduce him to our traditional culture,' Alena said as quoted by kapanlagi.com.
Alena, who recently launched her third album, said that this year she would like to introduce Kolla to the angpau tradition and to teach him about the importance of saving money.
The angpau is a red envelope with money inside, traditionally given by elder members of the family to children during Chinese New Year.
'I want to teach Kolla to start saving, starting with the angpau he receives. This is something that I also learned as a child,' Alena said.
