tate-owned developer Pembangunan Perumahan (PP) managed to secure new contracts worth Rp 6 trillion (US$451 million) as of April, seeing its secured contract total rise to Rp 45 trillion, inclusive of carried-over contracts worth Rp 39 trillion.
PP president director Tumiyana said the new contracts consisted of those booked by the firm, as parent company, worth Rp 4.3 trillion, and those booked by its subsidiaries worth Rp 1.7 trillion.
“Up to April, we had booked 19.6 percent of our 2016 new contract target, pegged at Rp 31 trillion. The new contract realization soared 50 percent above the management target of Rp 4 trillion as of April,” he said in a press statement on Thursday.
Among its subsidiaries, PP Pracetak secured the largest contribution for the firm with a contract valued at Rp 899 billion, followed by PP Properti with Rp 777 billion in contract value, and PP Peralatan with Rp 85 billion in contract value.
The company has joined the tender for three toll road projects, namely the Manado-Bitung toll road (Sulawesi) at a length of 39 kilometers, the Balikpapan-Samarinda (Kalimantan) toll road at a length of 99 kilometers, and the Pandaan-Malang (East Java) toll road at a length of 38 kilometers. (ags)
