he Kuta Police have arrested a massage therapist, Abdurahman, 47, for allegedly sexually assaulting an Australian boy in Kuta on Saturday.
Kuta Police chief Comr. I Wayan Sumara said the incident occurred at a massage parlor when the 12-year-old came in with his mother and grandmother for a massage. As there were no female therapists available besides those serving his mother and grandmother, the boy was served by Abdurahman, a male therapist.

“While undergoing interrogation, he confessed to committing sexual assault. He said he had done the same thing to 15 customers at other establishments,” Sumara said, adding that Abdurahman had been working in Kuta for three months.
Sumara added that the suspect could face 15 years’ imprisonment. Police will charge him under multiple articles of the Criminal Code (KUHP) and article 76E of the Child Protection Law.
Abdurahman has reportedly said that he regrets his actions.
