AKARTA: Actor Rio Dewanto, 28, has taken to the road so to speak.
Training for a military drill set to occur in two weeks, Rio has been running the busy streets of Santa, South Jakarta, in the scorching midday heat.
“I am due to play a soldier in my next film, so I have to be fit for the drill. The drill itself will take five days, we’ll be mentally and physically trained,” Rio explained.
Rio is to appear in I Leave My Heart in Lebanon, a TB Silalahi Pictures production, Kapanlagi.com reported on Wednesday. The shooting is scheduled to take place in Lebanon and Indonesia.
Other actors cast in the film include Yama Carlos, Boris Bokir, Revalina S. Temat, Baim Wong, Deddy Mizwar, Tri Yudiman and Lebanese actor Jowy Khoury. — JP
