Hadar elected as acting KPU chairman

eneral Elections Commission (KPU) member Hadar Nafis Gumay was elected as the commission’s acting chairman on Tuesday, replacing Husni Kamil Malik, who passed away last week.
“The election [of Hadar] was agreed upon by all KPU commissioners,” KPU member Sigit Pamungkas said.
Hadar will manage administration until a definitive chairman is elected on July 18.
The role of the KPU chairman includes signing KPU regulation revisions and carrying responsibility for the commission’s budget. (ary)
