he Jakarta administration will strengthen its cooperation with Australia in the livestock and fishery sectors, an official said on Tuesday.
“We [the Jakarta administration] will be invited to the Australian Embassy in Jakarta to further discuss the cooperation next week,” said Jakarta Maritime Affairs, Agriculture and Food Security Agency head Darjamuni as quoted by beritajakarta.com.
The discussion would be focused on beef cooperation to meet the City’s demand, which amounted to 165 tons per day, he said.
Darjamuni said the city was largely supplied through imports as locally sourced beef was insufficient to meet the capital’s demand.
